So many extraordinary moments made the 2025 GRAMMYs particularly unforgettable. But with so much going on during Music’s Biggest Night, there’s sure to be a few happenings that fall through the cracks.
From the red carpet to the show floor, read on for some of the most spectacular, amusing, and outrageous GRAMMY moments you might have missed. Impeccable and outrageous fashions, celebrity linkups, and incredible feats of musical talent are all listed below.
Sierra Ferrell’s Elaborate Outfit
Dressed in a regal, elaborate white dress covered in pearls, singer/songwriter Sierra Ferrell grabbed everyone’s attention at the Premiere Ceremony when she ascended the stage to collect the GRAMMY for Best Americana Performance for "American Dreaming." She turned even more heads when she unfurled a tiny scroll from the head of her scepter that held her speech. She then proceeded to win three additional categories: Best American Roots Song (also for "American"), Best Americana Album (Trail Of Flowers) and Best American Roots Performance "Lighthouse."
L.A. County Firefighters Present Album Of The Year
One of the most profound moments of the 2025 GRAMMYs came at the very end of the telecast, when the brave members of the Los Angeles County Fire Department — who worked tirelessly to stifle the destructive wildfires — came onstage to present Album Of The Year. One thing they didn’t manage to snuff out was their own excitement: Just look at Captain Sheila Kelliher’s face when she gets a glimpse of Beyoncé’s name on the envelope.
Sabrina Carpenter’s Classic Hollywood Style
Sabrina Carpenter flew high with her red carpet look, a feathery baby-blue custom backless gown by Loewe. Always inspired by classic Hollywood, the singer’s dress took reference from a similar look by Edith Head worn by Shirley MacLaine in What A Way To Go! from 1964. The blue color scheme continued into her performance of "Espresso" and "Please Please Please" during the main event.
Chappell Roan’s Dress Channels Degas
Now this is what we call a work of art! Chappell Roan hit the red carpet in a frilly yellow 2003 Jean-Paul Gaultier couture dress with a pattern featuring French Impressionist painter Edgar Degas’ iconic ballerinas — one of several striking ensembles the Best New Artist winner donned on Music's Biggest Night.
Jaden Smith’s House Hat
Looks like Jaden Smith has been taking the phrase "house music" a little too literally! Supporting his father Will Smith, who served as a presenter during the Quincy Jones tribute, Jaden showed up to the GRAMMYs wearing a piece of all-black headgear shaped like a multi-story mansion.
Taylor Swift Spills The "T"
Forget the bold red dress: Eagle-eyed red carpet viewers caught a glimpse of a tiny "T"-shaped charm dangling above Taylor Swift’s thigh. But is that a "T" for "Taylor," or for her boyfriend Travis Kelce, who plays in the Super Bowl next weekend? Swifties interpreted the latter, pulling out a lyric from Tortured Poets Department track "Guilty as Sin" ("What if he’s written ‘mine’ on my upper thigh?") to prove their point.
Tons Of Tear-Away Outfits
Multiple GRAMMY night performances saw artists tearing off their clothes — from Sabrina Carpenter and Benson Boone’s tear-away tuxes, to Doechii’s Thom Browne ensemble-turned-two-piece. Throughout Music's Biggest Night, everyone was letting the fabric fly.
Benson Boone Flips Out
A tear-away tux wasn’t even the most outrageous thing about Best New Artist nominee Benson Boone’s performance of "Beautiful Things." Right after Nikki Glaser and Heidi Klum took off his clothes, he climbed onto the stage and front-flipped off the piano. Then he one-upped himself again by backflipping later in the performance.
Charli XCX & Chappell Roan Queen Out
What were Charli XCX and Chappell chatting about on the floor at Crypto.com Arena Perhaps Chappell’s Best New Artist win? We may never know what they whispered in each other’s ears, but their contrasting outfits — Chappell’s midwest princess getup and Charli’s bratty black ensemble — certainly made a scene.
Miley Cyrus Shouts Out Beyoncé (And Her Dress)
"We won, Beyoncé!" No one makes a GRAMMYs impression quite like Miley Cyrus, who in addition to shouting out her earlier win for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "II MOST WANTED" with Queen Bey, also shouted out her own fashion sense. "Look at this gown. How could I tell my custom Alaïa she had nowhere to go?" She’s just being Miley!
Dressed "Like A Batman Villian," Jim Gaffigan Subs In For Trevor Noah
Comedian Jim Gaffigan was nominated for Best Comedy Album (losing to Dave Chappelle), but he had a different excuse for subbing in as host: "During the break — I don't know how to say this — Trevor Noah was traded to the Dallas Mavericks."
Red Hot Chili Peppers Sing "Under The Bridge" For L.A.

Among the many GRAMMYs tributes to Los Angeles was this short and sweet rendition of "Under the Bridge" by Chad Smith and Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The pair then presented the award for Best Pop Vocal Album to Sabrina Carpenter.
Shocked Beyoncé Goes Viral
It takes a lot to phase Queen Bey, but winning two GRAMMYs certainly does the trick! Beyoncé’s stunned expression upon winning Best Country Album, which reoccurred when she took Album Of The Year just a bit later, immediately went viral.
Janelle Monáe Executes A Perfect Moonwalk During Quincy Jones Tribute

Closing out the GRAMMYs tribute to Quincy Jones with a ferocious rendition of "Don’t Stop ‘Till You Get Enough," Janelle Monáe put on her best Michael Jackson impression, complete with an absolutely flawless moonwalk.
