Latin GRAMMY- and GRAMMY-winning Spanish singer [Alejandro Sanz](https://www.grammy.com/grammys/artists/alejandro-sanz/6144) won Record Of The Year for "Contigo" the **[21st Latin GRAMMY Awards](https://www.grammy.com/node/282911/)**. The song is from a compilation album honoring fellow Spanish singer/songwriter, **Joaquin Sabina**, who wrote and released the heartfelt ballad in 1995. The 2019 tribute album, *Tributo a Sabina. Ni Tan Joven Ni Tan Viejo*, also features covers of Sabina's classic songs by Leiva, Bunbury, Robe and others.

It is Sanz' 22nd Latin GRAMMY win.
