  • Born Demetria Devonne "Demi" Lovato on Aug. 20, 1992, in Albuquerque, New Mexico
  • Demi Lovato's debut album, 2008's Don't Forget, reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Her follow-up, 2009's Here We Go Again, reached No. 1. "Skyscraper," a track from her third studio album, 2011's Unbroken, was her first song to reach the Top 10.  
  • Did you know? At age 5, Lovato sang Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" during her kindergarten talent show.
  • Lovato lent her support to #MusiCaresChallenge, a 2016 MusiCares social media campaign that raised money for its programs and services supporting members of the music community in times of need.
  • In 2015 she launched Be Vocal: Speak Up for Mental Health, a partnership with leading mental health advocacy organizations that aims to empower adults living with mental health conditions to speak up and advance mental health awareness in America.
