  • Born Jason Thomas Mraz on June 23, 1977, in Mechanicsville, Virginia
     
  • Jason Mraz's single "I'm Yours" became a smash hit in 2008, reaching the Top 10 on singles charts around the world. His album We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. sold more than 3 million copies in the United States.
     
  • Mraz won his first career GRAMMYs for 2009, one for his song "Make It Mine" and the other for "Lucky," a duet with Colbie Caillat
     
  • Did you know? In 2012 Mraz became the first international artist in several decades to perform in Burma.
     
  • In 2014 Mraz joined Zac Brown, Sara Bareilles and Raining Jane to perform "Beautiful" during the MusiCares Person of the Year Tribute to Carole King
     
  • The Jason Mraz Foundation promotes arts education by sponsoring Live Art, an inclusive education and performance program that welcomes children of all talents and abilities to the stage.
