• Formed 2009 in Ramsey, New Jersey
   
• Band members: Jeremiah Fraites, Neyla Pekarek, Wesley Schultz
   
• The band released its self-titled debut album in 2012, which climbed to No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the No. 3 hit "Ho Hey" hit.
   
• At the 55th GRAMMY Awards, The Lumineers was nominated for Best Americana Album and Best New Artist. That same year, they also made their GRAMMY performance debut with "Hey Ho."
   
• Did you know? Jeremiah Fraites and Wesley Schultz co-wrote the music for "The Hanging Tree," which Jennifer Lawrence sang in the 2014 film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1.
   
• The Lumineers were among the performers at the tribute concert honoring 2017 MusiCares Person Of The Year tribute to Tom Petty. The official GRAMMY Week event raises funds for MusiCares, which provides services and resources that cover a wide range of financial, medical and personal emergencies for music people.
   
• In 2016 the Lumineers reworked the holiday classic "Blue Christmas" and donated all proceeds to the charity Cool Earth, which works alongside indigenous villages to halt rainforest destruction.
