Biography
"I'm experimenting with my voice. Every day I do different things with it, and if I feel it's appropriate I do it on the record."
- Born Mariah Carey on March. 27, 1970, in Huntington, New York
- Mariah Carey's self-titled debut album was released in 1990 and hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200, where it stayed for eleven weeks. The album included the No. 1 hits "Vision Of Love," "Love Takes Time" and "Someday."
