  • Born Matthew James Redman Feb. 13, 1974, Waterford, England
  • Gospel artist Matt Redman is known for his collaboration with LZ7 for the charity single "Twenty Seven Million." His tune, "10,000 Reasons (Bless The Lord)," which he co-wrote with Jonas Myrin, hit No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart.
  • Redman won his first two career GRAMMY Awards for Best Contemporary Christian Music Song and Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance for "10,000 Reasons (Bless The Lord)."
  • The singer/worship leader has authored several books on Christian worship, including The Unquenchable Worshipper, Mirror Ball and Facedown.
  • Redman is a member of CompassionArt. The charity, which was started by songwriter Matt Smith and his wife Anna, aims to generate income from works of art to assist in the relief of worldwide suffering.
