Bob Cavallo To Exit Disney Music Group

Chairman Bob Cavallo will retire from his position on Jan. 31, 2012, after more than 13 years with the company, according to a Billboard.biz report. Current SVP of Marketing Kent Bunt has been promoted to executive vice president and will head up Disney Music Group upon Cavallo's departure. During his tenure with the company, Cavallo played an integral role in the reorganization of its recorded music, music publishing and concert operations into a single centralized business entity.
