On Oct. 18 The Recording Academy Chicago Chapter Board was delighted to welcome the GRAMMY Foundation's Senior Vice President Kristen Madsen as well as GRAMMY Camp alumna Katie Gavin. After Madsen spoke regarding the new initiatives that have been enacted within the Foundations, Gavin spoke about her time at GRAMMY Camp. To close out the meeting, Gavin wowed the room with a performance of her song "Morning Glory," written while she was at camp.
