The Florida Chapter along with the GRAMMY Foundation hosted a GRAMMY SoundChecks with Jive Records recording artist Justin Timberlake during his FutureSex/LoveSounds tour.
A group of 10 new GRAMMY University Network members participated in the event, which began with a brief overview of the tour from Timberlake's director of operations. The group then proceeded backstage through Timberlake's dressing room, catering, wardrobe, media and tour management office. During the artist’s sound check, the group was escorted into the arena to the VIP seating section at the foot of the stage to enjoy an intimate view of the run through. Students also got a chance to participate in a brief question-and-answer discussion with Timberlake followed by a meeting with fellow artist and tour mate Timbaland.
