On Aug. 22 the Chapter, along with the GRAMMY Foundation, hosted a GRAMMY SoundChecks with Universal Music Group recording artist Luis Fonsi. Fonsi provided a group of GRAMMY U members with special access to his concert soundcheck, including a performance with his dancers. Following the performance, students asked Fonsi about his career path and his thoughts on releasing an album in English or continuing to only record in Spanish. They also asked him about his opinions on various music genres and of his preferences on venue size.
