On Sept. 19, the Los Angeles Chapter arranged for six lucky students from Washington Prep to have an intimate experience with Timbaland while on Justin Timberlake's FutureSex/LoveSounds tour.
The students were escorted through the backline production of Staples Center to the tour bus recording studio Timbaland used throughout the tour. Once inside, they were introduced to Timbaland, who sat with them and answered their questions prior to the show. He also demonstrated how the traveling studio setup worked and provided a brief explanation of the equipment he uses to create his unique musical style and sound.
Upon the conclusion of the question-and-answer session, the group was invited to stay for the show. The students were amazed when they were escorted to the floor and then to the front row for the show. Knowing where the students were seated Timbaland jumped down off the stage several times and gave their school a "shout out" during the performance.
