Intent Media Acquires Music Week
Independent publisher Intent Media has purchased the UK-based publications of global business media company UBM for $3.8 million. The acquisition includes music trade publication Music Week, Television Broadcast Europe, Pro Sound News Europe, and Installation Europe, as well as several websites, newsletters, conferences, and events including the annual Music Week Awards. Completion of the deal is subject to a consultation process, which could take up to six weeks. (6/28)
