On Sept. 10, the Latin Recording Academy presented Latin GRAMMY Celebra: La Música de Andalucía at Sevilla’s Cartuja Center CITE, honoring some of the region’s most important artists and their impact on Latin music.
Latin GRAMMY winners David Bisbal and Luis Fonsi served as hosts, guiding a night that celebrated Andalucía’s musical traditions — from flamenco to pop and rock — while showcasing the region’s influence on Latin music worldwide.
The program opened with a tribute to flamenco legend Enrique Morente, led by his son Kiki Morente and joined by La Tremendita, Ángeles Toledano, Lagartija Nick, and Cañizares. Performances throughout the evening honored icons such as Rocío Jurado, Camarón de la Isla, and Lola Flores, with Ana Torroja, Judeline, Arcángel, Estopa, Pastora Soler, and María Terremoto among those taking the stage. Members of Lola Flores’ family also appeared as presenters, adding to the tribute.

Tributes continued throughout the night, with performances honoring Miguel Ríos, Alejandro Sanz, and Joaquín Sabina. Camilo, Evaluna, Joaquina, Yami Safdie, Leiva, and Rozalén were among the set's featured performers. Flamenco, recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, was highlighted in a stirring segment with Antonio Rey, Carmen Linares, and Niña Pastori.
The current generation of stars — including Bisbal, India Martínez, Manuel Carrasco, and Vanesa Martín — was also recognized. Songwriter Manuel Alejandro was celebrated through performances of his songs by Ara Malikian, Luis Fonsi, Valeria Castro, and a surprise duet from Jeanette and Aitana

As the gala drew to a close, Raphael — the 2025 Latin Recording Academy Person Of The Year — was honored with performances by Ana Torroja, Rozalén, and Vanesa Martín. The evening also marked the culmination of a three-year partnership between the Latin Recording Academy and the Ministry of Tourism and Andalucía Exterior, which highlighted Andalucía’s legacy.

Executive production was led by Macarena Moreno and the Latin Recording Academy team under Ayleen Figueras, with musical production directed by Carlos Narea and Pablo Cebrián. Special guests in attendance included Juan Manuel Moreno Bonilla, President of la Junta de Andalucía; Sevilla Mayor José Luis Sanz; and Arturo Bernal, Minister of Tourism and Andalucía Exterior. Presented by la Junta de Andalucía and sponsored by Enrique Tomás, the gala also supported music development across the region.
