Warner Music Nashville announced today that it has inked a deal with Southwest Airlines to expand and continue its curious Live At 35 program, a live concert series that takes place on airborne passenger planes.
Launched in 2011, Live At 35 has become an extremely popular treat for passengers lucky enough to travel aboard one of the randomly selected flights that have featured artists such as Devin Dawson, NEEDTOBREATHE, Five For Fighting, O.A.R., and Better Than Ezra, among others. Dawson's most recent appearance was booked to commemorate the deal signing.
The expanded deal means the pop-up concert series will continue for the foreseeable future, with Warner Nashville continuing to employ Southwest as its carrier of choice when transporting featured artists by air.
Keep an eye out on the next flight you take with Southwest — maybe you'll get the chance to see one of your favorite artists play a set at 35,000 feet!
