Auction offers celebrity-signed music memorabilia to benefit MusiCares and the GRAMMY Foundation

The latest offerings from the GRAMMY Charity Online Auctions are currently available, running from May 15 – 25 at www.ebay.com/grammy. The auction features an array of exclusive, celebrity-signed music memorabilia and VIP experiences. All proceeds raised through this online fundraising event will benefit programs and services of the MusiCares and GRAMMY Foundations.

Featured items on the auction block include Gibson guitars signed by Les Paul, Bruce Springsteen and The Edge; Nixon LTD Rock Collection watches made of leather from the wardrobes of Chris Cornell, Anthony Kiedis, Ozzy Osbourne and Slash; a range of items signed backstage at the 2nd Annual MusiCares MAP Fund Benefit Concert by  Margaret Cho, Lemmy (Motörhead), Jason Mraz, and members of Alice In Chains, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Metallica and Velvet Revolver; and a 49th GRAMMY Ultimate VIP Experience Package.

Since 2001, GRAMMY Charity Online Auctions have served as a significant fundraising program as well as an efficient outreach tool for the MusiCares and GRAMMY Foundations. The program has grown from a once-a-year auction to a multi-auction campaign with an ongoing store presence on eBay and annual revenue that has achieved a 586 percent increase since its inception. High quality, exclusive and authentic items and VIP experiences as well as excellent customer service have contributed to a successful ongoing program that has helped fund health, human service, and music education programs of the Foundations.
