Mimi Webb is having the year aspiring artists dream of. On top of touring with Tate McRae and playing festivals around the world, the rising pop star was invited to perform at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in London as well as on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." And now, she can add "headlined a North American tour" to her impressive 2022 resume.
The UK native kicked off the 14-date trek in Vancouver, British Columbia on Sept. 22, and will play her final show in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 13. Though she grew up across the pond, Webb got her start in America, signing with Epic Records in Los Angeles in 2019 — making this tour even more meaningful.
"Headlining my own U.S. tour is a dream come true," Webb tells GRAMMY.com. "I can't believe that this is my life and that I get to perform to some amazing people who are here to support me so far away from home."
Just after finishing a sold-out show at New York's Bowery Ballroom, Webb added yet another monumental career moment to her year when she announced that her debut album, Amelia, will arrive March 3, 2023. While the tour may be coming to an end, it's seemingly only the beginning for Mimi Webb.
On the heels of her album announcement and the release of her latest single, "Ghost of You," Webb shared some of her favorite pictures and memories from her first North American headlining tour. Take a look at the onstage and behind-the-scenes moments, and hear from Webb about what made each show so special.

Sept. 22, Vancouver, BC: This was the first show of the tour. I remember being so nervous, as it was my first U.S. headline show — but also so excited. My band is really good at helping me overcome my fears before jumping on stage. We had so much fun backstage and made some incredible memories.
It was my first ever show in Vancouver, and I was worried people wouldn't know my songs. This photo was taken just before they started screaming the chorus. It was an amazing moment.

Sept. 26, San Francisco, CA: It felt like I hadn't seen my MIMI WEBB sign in so long! We didn't take it on the Australian tour or festivals, so I hadn't toured with it for a while. I missed it, and I was desperate to get in front of it for a photo.

Sept. 28, West Hollywood, CA: This was such a special show. I signed my record deal in LA when I was 18, and being able to go back to do my own headline show three years later after the pandemic was so special. So many of my friends and my label showed up. It was amazing to share this with them.
I met a lot of fans who said they fell in love with me at the Tate McRae shows and couldn't wait to come and see me at my own show. That was really special for me, to see the results of three years of hard work. I couldn't believe how much of a full-circle moment it was.

Sept. 28, West Hollywood, CA: Lately fans keep throwing their phones at me to film BeReal or TikTok videos. It's such a fun way to connect with them and add an extra bit of fun to the performance.
I feel so connected with the fans. They're my family. I am so grateful for their support and the energy they bring to these shows. Without them, I wouldn't be where I am.

Sept. 30, Salt Lake City, UT: This show was one of the more intimate shows we have ever done and I loved every second of it. Being able to do this was so much fun and gave me a real moment to connect with the fans. It was a small room, but it was packed, and every fan knew every word to my songs.

Oct. 1, Denver, CO: Denver really raised the roof. Everyone was chanting my name before I went on. It was so emotional. I can't believe people know my name and look up to me in that way in places that are so far away from home.
You can see how happy I am in this picture. Everyone was going wild, and I could feel the energy in the room. A group of girls were dancing in the left hand corner having the best time — I remember seeing them and feeling so much joy. Such incredible memories.

Oct. 4 Chicago, IL: Chicago is one of my favorite cities in the U.S. I'm in love with it and performing here always feels so special.

Oct. 10, Boston, MA: Boston was one of the first sold-out shows of the tour. The feeling of selling out my own U.S. headline show is amazing. I never thought I would get to do this, and I am so grateful to all of the fans who have been showing up to my shows.

Oct. 11, New York, NY: New York was probably one of the most emotional shows of my life. This is a city that has felt like home since I was so young, and selling out my own headline show here was so unbelievable.
I got off stage and broke into tears with my band because we couldn't believe the moment we had just lived together. I announced my debut album, Amelia, a few hours after the show, which made this day one of the most memorable moments of my career.
