Nathy Peluso's GRASA show opens with a flourish of drama. A video projection shows the Argentine-Spanish star on the run, suitcase in hand, with gun-waving agents chasing after her. Cue Peluso's entrance to the stage: her most ambitious live performance has begun.

With a mob-style aesthetic infused with a distinctly Argentine twist, the GRASA Tour combines 1970s-style cinematography with thrilling choreography. The set culminates with Peluso opening her suitcase to reveal her treasured GRASA mayonnaise, which she then smothers on a milanesa (thinly sliced meat coated in breadcrumbs, an Argentine favorite). Tongue-in-cheek, humorous yet sultry, the show is a fitting presentation of GRASA’s storyline, which is about cherishing your special sauce — loving yourself for who you are.

Since its May 2024 release, GRASA has taken Peluso's career to new heights. Along with earning the singer/songwriter three Latin GRAMMYs and her second GRAMMY nomination, the album's world tour includes her first headline shows in North America and massive festival slots, including an epic homecoming in Buenos Aires.

"This tour across the United States has been a dream, an incredible and transformative experience," Peluso tells GRAMMY.com. "It's so exciting to take your music around the world, and even more so to feel the audience enjoy every show so much.

"I felt very loved, my audience is amazing, and I think they really connected with the project," the five-time Latin GRAMMY winner continues. "I wanted to bring a well-thought-out show that would connect with people in every city, and I think we achieved that… This tour [has] reaffirmed to me that when you do things genuinely and with heart, people feel it, no matter where you are. Long live GRASA, my friends!"

As Peluso prepares to take GRASA to Mexico for two shows in April and on the European festival circuit this summer, she shares some of her favorite photos from all five of her first-ever U.S. shows and her monumental return to Argentina. Below, check out onstage and backstage shots, with captions written by the singer herself.

Miami, Fl. | The Fillmore Miami Beach

Miami was the first stop, and I felt it in my whole body. It was also the first time I performed "EROTIKA" live. We had just released it a few hours earlier, and it was insane to see how the crowd was already dancing to it, even singing along with me. It was the best possible way to kick things off, surrounded by dear friends who came to support me. And the Fillmore was fabulous. (Photos: INDIVIDUA, Courtesy of Nathy Peluso)

Washington, D.C. | 9:30 Club

Washington is a city I love, I find it beautiful and elegant. I first came here to record my [NPR] Tiny Desk [episode], and I also had the honor of performing my salsa track "La Presa" at the Hispanic Heritage Awards. Coming back to play a sold-out show here was truly special. (Photo: INDIVIDUA)

Brooklyn, N.Y. | Brooklyn Paramount

The Brooklyn Paramount is such a special place, straight out of a movie. The show was an incredible sold-out event. The crowd was all in, they even threw wigs at me! Hahaha.

It was a powerful night, one of those shows you never forget. I felt like something happened there that's going to define what's coming next. (Photos: INDIVIDUA)

Chicago, Ill. | The Vic Theatre

Chicago was pure fire. The crowd's energy grabbed me from the very first song. There was so much emotion in the air, you could feel the connection, the respect, the eagerness to live it fully. (Photos: INDIVIDUA)

Los Angeles, Calif. | The Novo

Los Angeles was the perfect ending. Wrapping up my first U.S. tour with a sold-out show at The Novo was another blessing. That night I came out in a look...

In the middle of the show, a fan threw a Luis Miguel sarong at me. It was such a random and beautiful moment, haha. But feeling that they know me so well, that we connect so deeply, really gives meaning to everything I do. There was so much connection, so much energy. We closed it all out with full-on GRASA, just the way it had to be. (Photos: Sophia Juliette, Courtesy of Nathy Peluso)

Buenos Aires, Argentina | Lollapalooza Argentina

This show was a very deep moment for me. Coming back home, to my land, and singing "ENVIDIA" with all my people was one of the most intense emotions I've ever felt on stage.

It was raining, but the crowd stayed strong, singing "BUENOS AIRES" with me under the rain and filling the whole place with an energy that's hard to explain. It was a unique connection, one of those that go through your entire body and stay with you forever. (Photos: Agustín Dusserre)
