Fall may be just around the corner, but plenty of artists and bands aren't quite finished with summer just yet, dropping new albums and singles to help close out the soundtrack of the season.
Stray Kids conjure up all kinds of good KARMA on their fourth Korean-language studio set; Laufey follows her GRAMMY-winning 2024 sophomore album Bewitched with A Matter of Time; Dominic Fike delivers his debut mixtape Rocket; Jeremy Zucker pays homage to his native Garden State; and Deftones share private music on their landmark tenth album.
Meanwhile, Taylor Momsen and the rest of The Pretty Reckless return with "For I Am Death," their first single in four years, Tori Kelly celebrates her newly announced pregnancy with the surprise release of "Make A Baby" featuring Lucky Daye, and dearly departed Broadway musical Dead Outlaw gets a second life with the release of its thoroughly inventive original cast recording.
Elsewhere, Sofía Reyes enters her IDGAF ERA, UMI is telling people stories on her sophomore album, MORGXN takes a trip to the HEARTLAND, and Ghostface Killa drops Supreme Clientele 2. Plus, Ciara releases her long-awaited, self—titled CiCi, Lainey Wilson adds five new tracks to the deluxe edition of her latest album Whirlwind, Wolf Alice share The Clearing and Old Dominion unveil their sixth studio set, Barbara.
Below, press play on 10 new releases worth checking out, including lead singles from Doja Cat and Florence + the Machine and a plethora of new albums by BigXthaPlug, sombr, Offset, Teyana Taylor and more.
Doja Cat — "Jealous Type"
Doja Cat has finally unveiled "Jealous Type," more than three months after teasing it as the lead single for her upcoming fifth album both on the red carpet for the 2025 Met Gala and in her latest campaign for Marc Jacobs. (Titled Vie, the pop-infused project is set to be released Sept. 26.)
"Could be torn between two roads that I just can't decide/ Which one is leading me to hell or paradise/ Baby, I can't hurt you, sure/ But I'm the jealous type," the 19-time GRAMMY nominee purrs over '80s-style synths produced by Jack Antonoff and her Planet Her collaborator Y2K.
The single's accompanying music video leans ever harder into the decade's glamorous references, with multiple versions of Doja outfitted in bold blonde wigs, animal print bodysuits, racy satin lingerie, and pearl-and-diamond-encrusted chokers.

BigXthaPlug melds his unique brand of Southern hip-hop with country music on his latest full-length project I Hope You're Happy.
The Texas rapper kicked off the album rollout with a trio of singles featuring duets with Bailey Zimmerman ("All the Way"), Shaboozey ("Home") and Ella Langley ("Hell at Night") — but they're hardly the only three country stars to make guest appearances. The studio set opens with Darius Rucker's distinct voice belting out the title track over a lone electric guitar while Jelly Roll, Luke Combs, Ink, Tucker Wetmore and Thomas Rhett all belt out their own hooks on other country-fried collaborations on the tracklist.

Florence + the Machine — "Everybody Scream"
"Everybody scream!" — Florence + the Machine single is back with a new era of music. The title track off the long-awaited follow-up to 2022's Dance Fever sets the stage for its Halloween release date, with frontwoman Florence Welch harnessing all her witchy, mystical powers and entrancing fans as she demands, "But look at me run myself ragged/ Blood on the stage/ But how can I leave you when you're screaming my name?"
Once again, Welch worked with frequent collaborator Autumn de Wilde on the track's delightfully possessed music video while she wrote and produced the entire forthcoming body of work with IDLES guitarist Mark Bowen, Aaron Dessner and Mitski.
The year 2025 has been a breakout one for sombr, with his singles "back to friends" and "undressed" becoming bonafide viral hits on TikTok and leading to the release of his debut studio album, I Barely Know Her.
To craft the project, the rising Gen Z alt-rocker worked with legendary producer Tony Berg and even tapped none other than Addison Rae to co-star in the music video for '70s-tinged third single "12 to 12." Meanwhile, other standouts across the album's 10 tracks include the fuzzed-out yearning of opener "crushing" and a heartbroken trip to "canal street," which clocks in at over 5 minutes of despair and regret as sombr just can't move on from an extinguished flame.
Twenty One Pilots — "Drum Show"
Twenty One Pilots are putting on a "Drum Show" on their new single, which serves as the second preview of the band's forthcoming eighth album, Breach. The song not only features drummer Josh Dun's confident, crashing percussion but also his voice, as he takes over the bridge for a rare solo moment on the mic.
"Drum Show" arrived with its own music video, but Dun's bandmate Tyler Joseph clarified in a note on social media that the visual "is not a part of the story of Dema and Clancy and Torchbearer" — one the band has been telling chapter by chapter over the course of their last four albums. Instead, he explained, the Blurryface narrative is set to continue with the music video for Breach opener "City Walls," which will debut alongside the full album on Sept. 12.

Offset — 'KIARI'
Offset's self-titled album, KIARI, is finally here. More than a year after announcing the studio set's title in April 2024, the rapper born Kiari Kendrell Cephus has amassed 18 tracks that feature guest appearances from the likes of J.I.D (lead single "Bodies"), Gunna ("Different Species"), Key Glock ("Run It Up"), Ty Dolla $ign ("Favorite Girl") and more.
To correspond with the release, Offset has also dropped a music video for the album's latest focus track "Never Let Go," a duet with John Legend. In the visual, "The Voice" coach sits at an off-white piano as he memorializes the late Takeoff ("I lost my brother, but I gained an angel/ I remember all the time we had, forever I'm grateful") and Offset reflects on the end of his marriage to Cardi B in the wake of losing his Migos bandmate and longtime friend.

Royel Otis sparked quite an online firestorm over their depiction of a tempestuous (and possibly toxic) relationship on hickey's lead single "moody." However, the guitar-pop ditty also earned the Aussie duo a major radio hit that has spent seven weeks and counting at No. 1 on Billboard's Adult Alternative Airplay tally.
Now, bandmates Otis Pavlovic and Royel Maddell have followed the chart success of "moody" with their sophomore album hickey, arriving on the heels of similarly infectious singles "car" and "say something." The latest highlight off the studio set is "who's your boyfriend," which receives its own cinematic music video starring "The Summer I Turned Pretty"'s Lola Tung.
For her first full-length body of work in half a decade, Teyana Taylor let her imagination soar by crafting Escape Room and its accompanying visual album co-starring Lakeith Stanfield and Aaron Pierre, which will simultaneously livestream on Amazon Music and Twitch at 8 p.m. PT followed by a Q&A moderated by Lena Waithe.
The project includes tracks like "Long Time," "Bed of Roses" and "Pum Pum Jump" featuring Jill Scott and Tyla. Additionally, "The Masked Singer" Season 7 champion recruited a laundry list of A-list actresses to add narration to the body of work, including Taraji P. Henson, Sarah Paulson, Kerry Washington, Regina King, and more in bringing her high-concept vision to life.
Fresh off his co-hosting gig at the 2025 Academy of Country Music Honors on Aug. 20, Russell Dickerson unveils his fourth full-length, Famous Back Home.
The album features previously released singles "Bones" and "Happen to Me," the latter of which already earned the country star the biggest streaming debut of his career upon its release last spring. Meanwhile, Dickerson is head over heels in love on new cuts like "Sunrise In My Silverado" and "Love That I Love You," and the title track puts an adorably saccharine spin on fame, making it clear the singer's biggest priority is at home with his wife and young kids.
If the striking cover art for HEARTS SOLD SEPARATELY — featuring a toy soldier saluting in front of a bubblegum pink wall — is any indication, Mariah the Scientist has battles of the heart on her mind on her fourth studio album.
The R&B songstress kickstarted the era with lead single "Burning Blue," which has become her highest-charting single so far on the Billboard Hot 100 as well as her first Top 10 hit on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The album also features elemental song titles like "Eternal Flame" and "Rainy Days" before closing out with the meditative "No More Entertainers."
