Above all, Christian music collective Passion hopes to glorify God by uniting generations through worship, prayer and justice. It's an idea rooted in the Bible's Isaiah 26:8 that's also reflected in the title track from their new album, "I've Witnessed It."
"I've got stories I'll live to tell/ So I'll pour out my praise again/ You're worthy/ God, You're worthy of all of it," Passion's vocalist Melodie Malone belts on the chorus of the song. Through their testimony, they're building a community of believers who trust in God's power, and in the end, they acknowledge that all their work traces back to His glory.
In this episode of Positive Vibes Only, Passion and Melodie Malone deliver a powerful performance of "I've Witnessed It," stripped-down with just a piano and cello. The members of Passion perform in an empty concrete room, symbolic of their singular need for God's presence in their life.
"I've Witnessed It" is the title track from Passion's 2023 live album, recorded at their annual conference in Dallas, Texas, and Atlanta, Georgia. Between the two cities, Passion rallied over 30,000 students around the nation to rejoice in the spirit of God.
