With her ethereal performance of "When I Pray," Christian singer/songwriter DOE's time on Positive Vibes Only feels just as devotional as it does entertaining.

"I know I can get through when I pray," DOE sings on the track's hook. "I know I can reach You when I call Your name."

Watch the two-time GRAMMY nominee perform her 2022 devotional single below.

"When I Pray" is the second single on the Louisiana native's debut full-length solo album, Clarity. Released Feb. 18, Clarity exemplifies much of what makes DOE special: a powerfully angelic voice, the fusion of gospel and R&B, and crafty songwriting.

Prior to becoming a solo act, DOE joined her parents and siblings in Christian gospel group Forever Jones. The septet released three albums — Get Ready in 2010, Musical Revival in 2012 and Prayer Tools, Vol.1 in 2014 — and earned GRAMMY nominations for Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album (Get Ready) and Best Gospel Performance ("He Wants It All") at the 53rd GRAMMY Awards.
