Don't let his calm delivery or the soft background instrumentation fool you — R&B singer/songwriter Josh Waters wears his heart on his sleeve during his performance for Press Play At Home.

"I guess you never meant to hurt me/ And didn't mean to fall in love," Waters sings on "Cyclone," the 24-year-old Mississippi native's biggest hit to date. "And now I'm tossed like a rag doll/ And all of me is just undone."

Waters' smooth vocals paired with lines like "I keep holding on with fleeting faith'' give the track an almost holy feel, an element that may not be a coincidence. "I don't know how I feel about religion, but I know that God is unconditional love; and my music comes directly from that source," Waters explained to Spotify.
