As one-half of the indie duo Roses & Revolutions, Alyssa Coco and her bandmate Matt Merritt weave intricate, imaginative folk-pop. But in this solo cover performance, Coco dials into a modern-day classic, performing her rendition of Sia's hit ballad "Chandelier."

In this episode of ReImagined at Home, Coco offers a delicate rendition of the song that springboarded Sia into mainstream musical superstardom in 2014. While less theatrical than the belt-worthy original, Coco's rendition of "Chandelier" captures the drama of the dynamic song. Her voice perfectly charts its plunging vocal acrobatics and pained intimacy, alongside an accompaniment from her Nord Electro 5 semi-weighted waterfall keyboard.

Coco delivers her performance amid a backdrop of twinkling string lights, adding to the enigma and fantasy of the song — the components of "Chandelier" that most closely intersect with her own work as a songwriter.

Roses & Revolutions are big fans of cover songs, and they can do justice to a variety of different musical formats. On their Instagram, Coco and Merritt have recently posted their own renditions of Harry Styles' "Little Freak" and Sheryl Crow's "Strong Enough." The pair have also built a loyal following with their original music, and will release their latest EP, Keep A Little Light On, on Sept. 23.
