Kinship has always been the driving force behind Track45's music. The three siblings — Jenna, Ben, and KK Johnson — were introduced to music at an early age. Their mother taught them how to sing in harmony, and their grandmother fostered their musical development in weekly instrument lessons.

In this episode of Positive Vibes Only, Track45 perform their latest single, "Family," an ode to these formative relationships. The trio sings in unison with support from Ben and KK on the guitar, one of the many instruments their grandmother taught them during childhood.

The message of "Family" is clear, as they sing in the song's chorus: "'Cause I don't got friends/ I got family/ At the end of the day/ That's all I need." They depend on each other, and that support is enough to keep them going.

"Family" is the first preview of the band's new era, following the release of their two-part EP series, Small Town (2020) and Big Dreams (2021). Their music is largely about their experience growing up in the quaint town of Meridian, Miss. "We are telling our story and telling the story of every kid who grew up in a small town," KK explained in a press release.
