The "Your Future Is Now" scholarship program, which launched in 2021 during Black History Month, is designed to provide students with the unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the music and entertainment industries, while also catering to their individual career interests — from music marketing and entertainment law to artist management and creative direction. By immersing themselves in real-world environments, students gain invaluable exposure, mentorship and practical knowledge that will support their professional growth and contribute to the future of the music industry.

As part of the program, the scholarship recipients also participated in an immersive, career-defining rotation program, which allowed them to engage with leaders from the Recording Academy. The Immersive Rotation Program took place from April 21–27 in New York City and offered students a dynamic, curated schedule that blended professional development, networking and cultural experiences. Highlights included a tour of SiriusXM with artist Torae; immersive visits to major record labels such as Republic Records, Island, Verve, and 1824; a private tour of the Recording Academy's New York office; and exclusive access to the two-day GRAMMY U Conference
