From fans bawling at concerts to artists breaking down mid-set, good music can make people emotional. For ASHBA, even good music equipment can make him a little verklempt.
"I almost teared up because I put my heart and soul into this guitar," the singer/songwriter says, recalling the moment he received his custom black-and-white Schecter. "I picked it up and it literally felt like an extension of me."

Featuring strategic technical placements, Alfred Hitchcock-inspired branding, and his own logo and signature, ASHBA's self-described "perfect" guitar took over 20-years' worth of touring to create.
Though ASHBA toured with Guns N’ Roses from 2009 to 2015 and has been in the group Sixx:A.M. with Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx and producer James Michael since 2007, he reveals it was the late Eddie Van Halen who inspired him to pick up the instrument in the first place. "When I saw Eddie Van Halen for the first time, I was like, 'That’s it, that’s what I want to do,'" he says.
