Steve Jobs Resigns As Apple CEO
Apple CEO Steve Jobs has resigned from his post with the company and has been named chairman, according to a Reuters report. Current Apple COO  Tim Cook will assume CEO responsibilities. Jobs, who co-founded the company in 1976, has been on medical leave since Jan. 17. (8/24)
