Fer Ariza has dedicated his career as a Latin Christian singer to the music of the heavens, but his latest single "Te Hace Daño" deals with the urgent earthly trial of domestic abuse.

In English, the track's title translates to "It Hurts You," and its hopeful message urges the weary listener to escape an abusive relationship and stop hiding the pain she's suffering inside.

Stripping the track down to its acoustic bones, the ardent animal rights activist sings, "Vente/ No dudes más y vente/ Te hace daño, es evidente/ Lo di todo por tenerte hasta la muerte" on the tender chorus as the lawn at his feet glows with a littering of candles.

"Te Hace Daño (Acústico)" is one of the latest in Ariza's string of singles released throughout 2023, including "Intenciones" featuring MR. Yeison, both "Soy José" and "Buscado Lio" with Pescao Vivo, "En el Fondo del Mar" with Samuel Troc and the original version of "Te Hace Daño" featuring a guest assist from producer D-One Music.

Last year, Ariza dropped his most recent full-length studio set, Aprovechando Bien el Tempo Porque los Días Son Malos, with guest features by Jay Kalyl ("Madero Rmx"), King Solo ("Lion"), Lizzy Parra and Angel Brown ("Latidos") and more.
