On Jan. 5, the Cheetah Girls made dreams come true for some very lucky members of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Capital Area (BGCCA). On this day, the GRAMMY Foundation and the Texas Chapter hosted GRAMMY SoundChecks with female pop vocal group the Cheetah Girls at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, in conjunction with the trio's highly anticipated sold-out Austin concert.

Before the lights went dark and the crowd went wild, 30 boys and girls from BGCCA were the sole audience members for a special sound check performance by the Cheetah Girls. After the sound check, the Cheetah Girls participated in a question-and-answer session, and answered questions running the gamut from how long they have been performing professionally to what they do in their spare time; explaining what on-the-road tutoring is like to which songs are their favorite and who has inspired them most throughout their life.
