The GRAMMY Foundation, together with the Atlanta Chapter of GRAMMY U, hosted a GRAMMY SoundChecks with the All-American Rejects for 30 GRAMMY U members at the Tabernacle on Nov. 23. The students socialized and networked with one another, and then the band then took the stage and rehearsed several tracks that they would perform at their concert that evening.
Following their soundcheck, vocalist/bassist drummer Chris Gaylor, guitarist Mike Kennerty, Tyson Ritter, and guitarist Nick Wheeler came down from the stage for a question-and-answer session moderated by Senior Executive Director Michele Rhea Caplinger. Atlanta GRAMMY U Representative Chevon Hines asked the band questions ranging from their advice for students trying to break into the music industry and how they feel they have matured and progressed as musicians.
