As Katie Melua details in her new track, "Love & Money," fame has created distance between her and her loved ones. Coming to terms with the reality of her lifestyle, Melua acknowledges her parents' support of her dreams — and expresses her regrets for the missed moments.

"Holding the line between the shows and interviews/ Never had time to give the best of me to you/ You set me free, free to go it alone with nothing to owe you/ But a voice down the phone/ Sending love and money," Melua croons in the chorus.

In this episode of Press Play, Melua delivers a gentle performance of "Love & Money," baring her soul with her voice and guitar. She films the song in the chaotic midst of a practice area, symbolic of the busy life she alludes to in her lyrics.

While "Love & Money" is the title track from Melua's latest album, the rest of the project is a little more joyful; most of the songs detail Melua's journey of falling in love with her husband and welcoming a newborn. On April 11, she began a European tour for the album in Warsaw, Poland, which will conclude on July 30 in Dinslaken, Germany.
