GRAMMY Charity Online Auctions, running now through Sept. 28, will offer a wide selection of music and travel VIP experiences with all proceeds benefiting the educational and archival programs of the GRAMMY Foundation. The auctions are available at www.ebay.com/grammy.

 

Featured items include a 49th GRAMMY Awards platinum-level ticket package for two, which provides some of the best seats in the house along with GRAMMY Celebration party passes for the auction winner and a guest to attend the 49th Annual GRAMMY Awards on Feb. 11, 2007, at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Travel experiences include a Dave Koz & Friends At Sea VIP cruise and meet and greet from Nov. 4 – 11, 2006, with ports of call to include Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and Ensenada; and a four-day, three-night stay for four at the exclusive island paradise the Soneva Gili Resort & Six Senses Spa in the Maldives in a villa complete with two master bedrooms, one guest bedroom, a private spa with steam room, a sauna and massage pavilion, a personal girl and guy Friday, a personal chef, boats and daily breakfasts.

 

In addition, the online auction offers special VIP GRAMMY SoundChecks and concert experiences for two that take the winner and a guest behind-the-scenes to observe celebrity artist/band performance sound checks and attend the concert. GRAMMY SoundChecks packages are available for James Blunt on Nov. 15 at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, and the Fray on Oct. 11 at The Pageant in St. Louis, Mo.
