Do we nurture, comfort and forgive ourselves like we do others? That's what MILCK seems to ask in her stirring song "Power."

"No matter your features/ We're all the same tender loving creatures/ Taking steps upon the earth," the Los Angeles singer/songwriter — a child of immigrants from Hong Kong — declares over a lone acoustic guitar in the below video.

And MILCK finishes the line with a simple truth: "Don't need anyone to tell you what you're worth."

As MILCK shared upon the song’s release in March, "Power" is meant to inspire. “May this new song be a reminder that true power does not lie in bullets and bombs, but in brotherhood/sisterhood/siblinghood, and the beauty we see in ourselves and each other,” she captioned a picture of the cover art on Instagram.

In another post, she wrote, “I’m hoping beyond hope that this sends some positive, healing energy into a world in need.”

In this episode of Positive Vibes Only — a performance video series meant to heal wounds and exalt the human spirit — let MILCK's stark, courageous performance of "Power" at the She Rocks Awards in LA give you the resolve to take your workweek head-on.
